About Jim
Jim Gallagher, CFA, partner, joined William Blair in 2011. He is the Canadian regional manager for Institutional Sales, Research, and Trading and a member of the firm’s extended leadership group. He has spent the past 21 years in the institutional equities business. Before joining William Blair, he held the same position for Lehman Brothers and Oppenheimer, both in New York, where he focused on U.S. equities. Before entering the institutional equities industry, he worked for seven years as a registered representative at Fidelity Investment.
Jim holds a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from Boston College, where he graduated with honors.
