About Joe
Joseph Tabet, managing director, is a wealth advisor in the Private Wealth Management group at William Blair. With more than 30 years of experience in the investment industry, Joe draws on his extensive contacts, diverse experiences, and educated perspective to bring new ideas, insights, and solution-based advice to his clients and the complex issues they face. He relies heavily on William Blair’s highly acclaimed, proprietary equity research and his rigorous engagement with its analysts to build and manage customized portfolios for his clients.
Joe is the director and curator of Navy Pier Walk, the public art program at Navy Pier, and a member of the acquisition committee for the Society of Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago. A former member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade, he is a current member of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange.
A Woods Scholar at Hillsdale College, Michigan, Joe graduated with a B.A. in philosophy; he later earned an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Illinois. A native of the Chicago area, he now resides in River Forest with his wife and their four boys.
