About Rob
Rob Rumley, managing director, is a wealth advisor with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He draws on the firm’s global resources to provide clients with integrated wealth management solutions, including investment management, comprehensive wealth planning, and corporate and executive services. Before joining William Blair, Rob was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and previously Merrill Lynch, where he was a member of the firm’s executive club and National Diversity Council. He began his career in 2001 with UBS Paine Weber.
Rob is a member of the board of trustees for the Interdenominational Theological Center. He is actively involved in multiple philanthropic endeavors. He has chaired the Atlanta Housing Authority’s board of commissioners, served on the board of trustees of The Galloway School, and was a regional board member of Operation Hope. Rob is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Buckhead. His awards for charitable work include the Black History Harvest Community Leadership, the HBCU Power Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Morehouse College Upward Bound.
Rob graduated from Georgia State University with an M.S. in finance and from Morehouse College with a B.A. in finance and economics. He lives in Buckhead with his wife and three children.
