About Sarah
Sarah Mercurio counsels high-net-worth families, business owners, corporate executives, foundations, and endowments on the full spectrum of strategic wealth planning to help optimize their financial blueprints. Her suite of professional advisory services includes estate and wealth transfer, risk planning, financial planning, philanthropic endeavors, credit needs, income tax considerations, and an appropriate investment delivery. Additionally, she coordinates with both internal and external resources to provide the most comprehensive and holistic solutions. Sarah began her tenure at William Blair in 2001 and has worked with the firm’s most prominent high-net-worth families. Previously, she worked as an associate director in the pooled investments group at Brinson Partners, now UBS Asset Management. Her financial services career began at Brown Brothers Harriman and Company in Boston in their management training program, working with institutional clients and international financial markets.
In 2019 and 2020, the Cultra Wealth Management Group was named a Top 50 Private Wealth Advisory Team by Barron's.1
Sarah received her BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Connecticut. She has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ since 2003 and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Chicago Estate Planning Council. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Michael and two sons.
