About Scott
Scott Hansen, based in the New York office, is the associate director of William Blair’s Equity Research Group and is tasked with helping scale and optimize research. Scott was most recently at JPMorgan, where he spent 17 years and was the associate director of U.S. equity research. He was responsible for shaping commercial research product, spearheading the partnerships between equity research and sales/trading, and developing the next generation of leaders in the analyst and associate population. Scott has held previous roles in research, sales/trading, and investment banking. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and lives in New York with his wife and three children.
