About Bill

Bill Ryan is a wealth advisor on the Kasten, Jannotta & Jesanis team with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management. Bill was previously an executive director of Institutional Sales at JP Morgan in Chicago and, prior to joining the financial industry, worked in the chemical industry and held various sales and marketing positions at Zeneca and Great Lakes Chemical.

Bill received his B.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Bill holds the Certified Retirement Planning Counselor designation (CRPC®) designation.

Bill and his wife, Lisa, have two sons and a daughter, and reside in River Forest, IL. He is a board member of PACTT, an organization helping connect people with autism to the community, and a volunteer through Old St. Patrick’s Church community outreach at Su Casa, a Catholic residence center on Chicago’s south side. Outside of work, Bill enjoys golf, skiing, and travel.
