About Brian

Managing wealth is an evolving process, continuously changing to reflect clients’ current needs as well as their goals for the future. Brian believes investment decisions should be made as part of a comprehensive wealth management plan that helps clients grow, protect, and manage their wealth.

Relying heavily on William Blair's growth stock research, Brian identifies growth companies he believes will provide superior long-term investment returns. His objective is to add value to his clients' portfolios by holding stocks of valuable businesses with solid balance sheets and sustainable earnings power. Owning a diverse portfolio of equities in solid growth companies and integrating high-quality external managers where appropriate is key to his investment strategy.

Brian brings more than 30 years of investment experience to his role as a wealth advisor. After beginning his career in 1986 covering institutional equity accounts on the Chicago Stock Exchange, he founded and was a partner of Boss Securities, an institutional brokerage firm. Before joining William Blair, he was a financial advisor at Mesirow.

Brian graduated from the University at Buffalo with a B.S. in management. He lives in Old Town, has two children, and enjoys running, skiing, and playing basketball, and music.
