About David
David Adams, partner, is the director of strategy for William Blair Investment Management. He is also a member of Investment Management's leadership team and the William Blair extended leadership group. David works with the business leaders to develop and refine division strategy, analyze new business opportunities and M&A, and nurture new products.
Prior to joining William Blair in 2015, David was a principal at Bain and Company and worked in their Boston, London, and Chicago offices. He advised clients in private equity, financial services, and industrial goods and services on strategy, management, due diligence, and operations. Prior to business school, David was an associate vice president with Chatham Partners, providing consulting and custom market research to financial services clients. David was also a math teacher at Loomis Chaffee, a private high school in Connecticut. David received a bachelor of arts in physics and biology from Williams College and an M.B.A. from MIT Sloan.
