About Isidora

Isidora K. Lagos, formerly a partner and head of Brand Marketing and Communications at William Blair, has been a leader in corporate branding and strategy, global marketing programs, and communications. She currently leads Family Office Solutions for Private Wealth Management at the firm.

Before joining William Blair in 2000, Lagos spent 16 years developing new products and marketing consumer goods for Hallmark Cards, Inc. and Blyth Industries (she holds a U.S. patent for her work).

Lagos, who received both her B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, in French and Russian and her M.B.A. in marketing from Indiana University, was a Fulbright Scholar in economics at Lajos-Kossuth University in Debrecen, Hungary. She is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of Business.

Lagos was a member of the Arthur Page Society and served as president of the Business Marketing Association of Chicago; she also served on the Chicago 2016 Olympic Marketing Committee. In 2010, William Blair published a book, Celebrating 75 Years: Viewing Chicago History Through Our Private Art Collection, which Lagos conceptualized and authored. Since 2002, she has served as curator of the firm’s art collection. Since 2011, Lagos has been a member of the Woman’s Board of The Art Institute of Chicago, and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Woman’s Board. Since 2014, she has collaborated on several books, including Asi Somos | Who We Are, by Ada Nivia Lopez and Mark Joseph; Discover the Joy of Leadership, by William G. Steiner; and, an anniversary catalogue, Remember: Art Competition of the Anne Frank Educational Centre.
