About Karen
Ms. Eames is responsible for the management and execution of business and service functions for William Blair’s Boston Wealth Management team. In addition, she oversees the administrative support for the team with specific areas of expertise in portfolio management, trust administration, tax reporting, account maintenance, and client reporting.
Before joining William Blair, Ms. Eames was director, client advisor services at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, where she managed the administrative support team and provided administrative support for two senior client advisors. She also served as an investment and administrative associate at Bank of Boston in Boston. In her 25-plus years as an administrative associate, she has provided a high level of service to high-net-worth individuals and their families.
Ms. Eames graduated from Emmanuel College with a B.A. in business administration. She has been actively involved for more than 20 years as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, where she is a past president, executive board member, Girl’s State committee chair, and member of the color guard. She is a member of the Quincy Lodge of Elks in Quincy. Ms. Eames is a former member of the Board of Trustees for the Woodward School for Girls in Quincy and continues to remain involved in an advisory capacity.
