About Lisa

Lisa Rusch, partner, is director of operations for William Blair Investment Management. In this role, she oversees all aspects of Investment Management operations, including settlements, project management, mutual fund administration, alternatives operations, portfolio accounting, trade support, data reporting and administration, and risk management. Before assuming this role in November 2017, Lisa was responsible for the trade support, reporting, and data management teams, working closely as a key partner with investment teams. As a testament to her commitment to excellence, Lisa was the inaugural recipient of the Nicholas Award, given to a William Blair employee who exemplifies a number of leadership qualities.

Before joining William Blair in 2000, Lisa was a business systems analyst for the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in New York, where she was responsible for onboarding investment managers, banks, and broker-dealers. Before joining the DTCC, Lisa worked at William Blair as assistant manager of the settlement department in firm operations. In addition, Lisa spent two years as a branch operations manager for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She received a B.A. from DePaul University.
