Matt Kelly is a wealth advisor associate with William Blair’s Private Wealth Management group. He works with high net worth individuals, families, and businesses to help them achieve their financial objectives. He first joined the firm as an advisor consultant with William Blair’s Investment Management. He previously worked at Nuveen in Sales and Service, and at Icarus Investments at the Chicago Board of Trade as a derivates trader.

Matt is a graduate of The University of Virginia, where he was a Division I athlete, a four-year starter with the school’s national championship lacrosse team, and a recipient of the Thomas Rixey Scholarship. Matt grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and now lives with his wife Julie in Old Town. He serves on the Auxiliary Board at Lincoln Park Zoo and the Associate Board at Over the Rainbow, a non-profit organization in Evanston that builds housing for the physically disabled to promote independent living. Additionally, he is on the Associate Board at OWLS, a youth development organization that creates opportunities for underserved youth in Chicago and with WITS, reading with elementary and middle school students in Chicago Public Schools. Matt enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
