About Neal

Neal F. MacLean, partner, joined William Blair in 2019 in equity sales and is the co-regional manager for the Boston institutional sales and trading business. Prior to joining William Blair, Neal spent 12 years at Deutsche Bank where he oversaw the firm’s institutional client group in Boston which included equity sales and sales trading, prime brokerage sales, and fixed income sales. Prior to Deutsche Bank, he spent eight years at Thomas Weisel Partners as a partner in equity sales and five years at Cowen & Company as a director in equity sales.

Neal graduated from Harvard College in 1993 with an A.B. in government. He resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts, with his wife and four children.
