About Neal

Neal Seltzer began his long-term career at William Blair in institutional sales after eight years with similar responsibilities at Lehman Brothers and two years in private investor sales at Dean Witter & Company. He started the Options Department at William Blair in 1974, which he managed for ten years. Concurrently, he served as coordinator of market strategy and wrote the firm’s semi-monthly Technical Market Letter. In 1984, Neal transitioned his skills to that of a portfolio manager, serving high-net-worth individuals and families. From 1987 to 1994, Neal managed the firm’s only mutual fund. He is currently a director of the Scholarship and Guidance Foundation.
