About Tony

Since 2004, Tony Hoban has managed financial assets and advised high‐net-worth individuals, business owners, and families as well as endowments and foundations. From 1996 until 2004, he worked in William Blair Institutional Sales as a research salesperson calling on mutual fund and hedge fund clients in Boston  and New York.

Prior to joining William Blair, Tony was a vice president at Banker’s Trust Company in New York City. His involvement in charitable organizations around Chicago include: member and past President of The Springboard Foundation (venture philanthropy), on the Board of Governors of Opportunity International (micro‐enterprise lending), board member of the Kerry Wood Family Foundation (mentoring in Lawndale and Humboldt Park), board member of The Chicago Foundation for Education (stipends and awards for Chicago public school teachers), a Founder of the Kevin Gorter Memorial Foundation (sports for disadvantaged youth), and on the Men’s Committee of Lurie Children’s Hospital.
