About Elinor
Elinor Escamilla, vice president, is a wealth advisor in William Blair's private wealth management group. She assists in all areas of portfolio and practice management. Previously, Ms. Escamilla was a vice president at Bard Associates, Inc., where she provided buy-side research analysis for a broad universe of micro-cap stocks. Before Bard, she was an investment banking analyst with TFA Capital Partners advising on debt issuance and debt securities. She graduated with a degree in pure mathematics from Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she was elected as an associate to the Sigma Xi honor society for her contribution to academic research in the field of mathematics. Ms. Escamilla is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Ms. Escamilla lives in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood of Chicago with her husband and three young sons. She is a member of the associate board of the Infant Welfare Society, a member of the board for the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, and a former member of the Young Women’s Giving Council of the Chicago Foundation for Women. She enjoys knitting, weaving, cooking, bicycling, strategy board games, and puzzles.
