Wrap Up London bag

This holiday season William Blair employees across the globe collected thousands of coats to distribute to local community groups, supporting the homeless, refugees, the elderly and victims of domestic violence.

London staffers kicked off the campaign by participating in Wrap Up London's 8th annual coat drive held November 12-14.

"William Blair was the first financial sponsor of the event and it's been amazing to see the number of coats collected and volunteers grow," said Carolyn Kaiser, a William Blair employee who has collected coats in London every year since the drive began.

In 2011, the first year of the campaign, Wrap Up London volunteers delivered 2,800 coats to more than 50 charities, she said. This season, some 35,000 coats were collected and distributed to 200 charities. Over 130,000 people have received coats over the life of the campaign.

William Blair colleagues in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, San Francisco and Boston continued the initiative through December collecting coats for charities in their communities.
