Brandon Lower is global head of the Financial Sponsors Group and is a member of the firm's extended leadership group.

William Blair's Financial Sponsors Group is focused on developing and institutionalizing relationships with leading private equity firms around the world. Many of these relationships have been developed for over two decades, providing William Blair with senior-level access and credibility with the key decision-makers at each private equity firm.

Mr. Lower rejoined William Blair in 2000, has been a partner since 2006, and has led the Financial Sponsors Group since 2009. He has extensive experience with M&A and public and private equity transactions, having completed over 150 transactions. Before joining William Blair, Mr. Lower worked in investment banking at Bowles Hollowell Conner and Dean Witter Reynolds. He currently serves on the New York Regional Advisory Board of Reading Partners, the only national nonprofit organization that provides a complete package of in-school, one-on-one literacy instruction by volunteers.

Mr. Lower holds an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. in political science from Yale University. He lives in Rye, New York, with his wife and three children.
