William Blair Investment Management’s Luis Olguin shared with Citywire Selector his perspective on the value of “green” investment vehicles in the Amazon in supporting the planet and mending political divisiveness in Brazil.

Olguin told the publication that “the fixed-income environment does look better in 2023. Yields look higher and premiums have adjusted. If the political environment is stable and some of the market concerns about [President] Lula’s past are dissipated, then capital will flow through to Brazil, whether it’s in the form of labelled bonds or normal traditional bonds.”
