William Blair acted as the exclusive financial advisor to AMCS, a portfolio company of Insight Partners (Insight), Clearlake, Highland Europe, Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, and Enterprise Ireland, in connection with its pending majority sale to EQT Private Equity (EQT). This is the largest-ever M&A transaction to date for our European Tech franchise and the largest software M&A transaction in Ireland. As part of the transaction, the co-founder, management, and others including existing majority investor Insight, as well as Clearlake Capital, Highland Europe, and the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund are expected to retain minority stakes. The transaction was signed on August 8, 2024 and is subject to customary conditions and approvals.
