William Blair’s Eric Bukovac, a director in the firm’s aerospace defense and government contracts investment banking group, recently connected with infrastructure investing publication Infralogic, where he discussed the current landscape for M&A activity in the sector and how private equity firms are looking to the providers of infrastructure asset support systems—and specifically “infrastructure asset intelligence” providers—as opportunistic investments for their infrastructure funds.
“Investors assess IAI opportunities by looking at the average ticket size of your average service provided,” Bukovac told the publication.
