Raphael Grunschlag, managing director on William Blair’s technology Investment Banking team, was quoted in Sifted, a leading European publication focused on the continent’s start-up community, where he discussed private equity’s current appetite for start-up companies, including William Blair client LumApps.

While it appears as though the PE and VC communities are taking a renewed interest in start-ups, Grunschlag told the publication there’s “always” been interest, but high-performing, attractive investments have not always been in the market at the right time.
