William Blair research analysts maintain a regular “index” of how the pest management industry is faring from a revenue perspective across a host of timelines. Key sector publication Pest Management Professional recently wrote a feature story on their outlook at the beginning of 2023.
“In 2022, the total pest index increased 15 percent year-over-year,” William Blair equity research analyst Tim Mulrooney said in the report. “This was slightly above the result observed in 2021 (14 percent); however, we estimate pricing represented approximately two-thirds of the growth in 2022, versus approximately one-third of the growth in 2021.”
