The Association of Corporate Citizenship Professionals (ACCP), the nation’s leading advocate for corporate social impact professionals, awarded Beth Satterfield, Chief Operating Officer of William Blair, the organization’s Champion for Change award for her exceptional leadership in corporate social impact.
The Champion for Change award, presented during the ACCP’s annual Purpose Awards and in partnership with Rocket Social Impact, recognizes leaders who have made a significant social and business impact in their companies and communities.
Satterfield was named this year’s Champion for Change thanks to the leadership she has exhibited both in the community and at William Blair, where she has increased the impact and scope of William Blair’s community engagement and philanthropy strategy initiatives.
She also serves as the chairman of the board of College Possible, a non-profit AmeriCorps organization that makes college admission and success possible for low-income students in the United States through an intensive curriculum of coaching and support. Satterfield also serves on the host committee for the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, an organization committed to preserving the legacy of the Holocaust through remembrance and combating hate.
