This past week, we attended William Blair's 39th Annual Growth Stock Conference in Chicago. In contrast to past years when the conference has normally taken place over three days, this year's was a more compressed affair spread over just two intense days, though it still managed to fit in top executives from 201 presenting companies. As we have done in past years, in this week's Economics Weekly we discuss some of the more anecdotal, bottom-up, macro takeaways we gleaned from the presentations we managed to attend.
